Can sinus infection cause lightheadedness
Sinus infection does not cause lightheadedness, but alternatively can cause dizziness,
 There is a great different between lightheadedness and dizziness, lightheadedness is the feeling of you are about to pass out or you are about to faint, it is caused by seizure of blood to the brain. You can ease lightheadedness by laying down for some time, at least to allow blood to reach your brain.
 Common cause of lightheadedness is high blood pressure, low blood sugar, rapid dehydration from diarrhea, fever or playing a wind instrument.
 Dizziness is different from lightheadedness,  when you are dizzy you will feel as if your leg is weightless or your head is weightless, sometime you will feel as if the room is spinning , the difference between lightheadedness an dizziness are quite blurry but they are extremely different things caused by difference factors. It can be caused by sinus infection as a result of stuffiness of mucus in the nasal cavity that lead to an ear imbalance a condition known as vertigo.
 Although sinus infection cause a serious headaches,   it is characterized by a deep an constant pain in  the forehead, cheekbone  or the bridge of your nose, this type of headaches are very severe un the morning when the mucus have been collecting all the night. It also worsen when the environmental humidity have changes.
 Other symptoms of sinus infection are nasal discharge, nasal congestion, sore mouth and throat irritation,
 You can prevent sinus infection by preventing the any thing that can irritate the nose, maintain a good hygiene to prevent bacteria and virus from infecting your sinus, avoid smoking because smoking can cause damages your nose, mouth and respiratory system cavity and thereby making prone to bacterial and viral attack.
